NEW YEAR, NEW COMMITTEE, NEW PROGRAMME
A new Committee was elected at our AGM in February and Wendy Fox will continue to provide excellent leadership as Chairman. We are keen for Members to be involved at all levels and would welcome more on the Committee.
We aim to develop the use of technology by making the most of our new, more flexible website and by sending information to Members via email where possible.
The Documents section in "About Us" includes various items of interest for Members such as the Annual Report for 2011/2 in its new format and the Constitution, amendments to which were approved at the AGM.
The new Membership Card with programme for 2012/3 can be printed off our website and booking forms for special interest days and visits will be added as available.

We are a friendly society with about 150 members.
Our meetings start at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of the month for nine months of the membership year. (We don't meet in July, August or December). At these meetings we have lectures on a wide variety of arts related topics by expert speakers approved by the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies. (Meetings are included in the membership fee).
In addition to our meetings we organize several visits by coach each year plus special interest days, which comprise 3 lectures enabling a subject to be studied in much more depth. The cost of these is additional to the membership fee and is made clear on the booking form. For the special interest days lunch and refreshments are included.
